Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department completed all three RTE timetable slot comprising application forms acceptance and schools allotment on March 26, May 20, and June 29 respectively for all districts.
Total 1,29,233 applicants registered online seeking admission under RTE reserved seats at private and unaided schools in Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath headed state Uttar Pradesh.
From received applications, 79,563 duly completed forms were accepted and verified scaling the three round seat allotment tally at 42,110. The state capital allotted a total of 12,365 seats to RTE applicants.
The top 10 districts that tasted overwhelming sweetness of RTE success are, Lucknow (with 12,365 allotments), Varanasi (with 5,278 allotments), Kanpur Nagar (with 2,274 allotments), Agra (with 2,167 allotments), Ghaziabad (with 2,036 allotments), Saharanpur (with 1,567 allotments), Moradabad (with 1,455 allotments), Gorakhpur (with 1,381 allotments), Gautam Buddha Nagar (with 1,320 allotments), and Mirzapur (with 1,106 allotments).
